How Your Donation Helps CSS
There is 70% unemployment for people with severe disabilities in this country. That is 20.3 million people who are waiting for a chance to shine.
You donation will immediately help people with the most severe disabilities who are either in institutions or are in danger of institutionalization engage in meaningful paid work opportunities. These opportunities have caused profound developmental changes for people with severe disabilities. Some of these people speak for the first time, are more overt, or just come to life. Others have stopped self -abusive behaviors miraculously merely because of the dignity garnered from work.
